Dream House Portable Greenhouse By Norman L. Hodge We got our Dream House by UPS and set it up in one hour, not 5 minutes. If we have to set it up again, it will go much faster, but it’s not really explained clearly in the instructions. The green house is of good quality. We have ours sitting in an area where it’s protected from the north and is close to the south wall of our home, for warmth. It is exposed to strong winds from the south and west, but is quite stable, rather surprising as I was expecting it to become a large kite. I will be using it as a cold greenhouse, that is no or little heat added and haven’t really had t he chance to plant in it yet, but will be doing soon. The only problem we’ve had to date is the zippers which secure the doors: 2 zippers per door, and all of them stick. I may just use the velcro patches when I get frustrated enough.

First year great, second year awful By C. Starfire The first year my Dreamhouse went up in about 40 minutes, not 5. Once up it was stable and seemed to be very good construction. I was THRILLED with it the first year. I have long, cold, wet, springs and I got a great start on the growing season.
In late summer I cleaned it and Paul took it down. It was frustrating as all get out and very, very hard to fit in the case. It was clean and dry when it was packed up, and stored in a dry barn.
The next spring it was a bear to put up. The thread around the doors started popping apart and the screens started dissolving. Then we had a late freeze and light snow (1-2 inches) and all the pole snapped. I called to check on the warranty and they said they’d send some replacement poles right out. It took about 2 months for them to arrive. They also suggested I duct tape screening over the windows. The poles did not fit quite right, as the Dreamhouse had been redesigned.
At the end of the season I called them again since it was still under warranty and both doors had lost most of their stitching and all the windows were useless. They offered to repair/replace it if I shipped it back. It was impossible to get in the case all the way because all the door seams that had given out. It cost almost $200 to ship back. Then I waited. And waited. And waited. After about 2 months a replacement arrived.
I would not recommend the Dreamhouse unless you are able to buy a new one every year or 2. Flowerhouse customer service is very pleasant to talk to, but very, VERY slow to actually do anything — and you do have to call. Email does not receive replies most of the time.

Great little greenhouse! By M. Skeeters We are just beginning to get freezing weather here in Texas, but my husband and I are very pleased with the way it is holding up. Easy to put up (it took both of us), and keeps plants going. The only thing is I have to put a heater in it when the weather gets below freezing, because the instructions say it won’t keep the place warm in freezing weather. Otherwise, we are very pleased with it.
